Hello, at our facility, when installing polypropylene pipes for water supply to residential premises, there was a situation in which, in order to keep the duct lower, it was decided to conduct polypropylene under the sewer on the wall. However, we were told that this should not be done ... But I have not found such a ban anywhere. Please help me figure it out.

Hello, Artyom. Who actually said that it is impossible to lay PP pipes for water supply under the sewer on the wall? If this is some kind of authority, then it makes sense to sort out the issue in order to understand what regulations are regulated.

And another question: why can’t this be done, what exactly is meant by this? You can not lay water pipes in the immediate vicinity of the sewer? Or to make differences so that the box along the height of the gasket forms two knees? The argumentation of people who said that one cannot lay PP water pipes in this way is not entirely clear.

I advise you to read article about standards, norms and requirements. If your water pipes and sewer are laid in separate boxes and highways, then their intersection does not violate the requirements.

Hello. Perhaps this was meant - SP 30.13330.2016 Internal water supply and sewerage of buildings: “5.4.12 Joint laying of drinking water pipelines with sewer pipelines is allowed to be provided only in through channels, while sewer pipelines should be placed below the water supply.
