Good day to all! I do not hope for an answer, but still I will try. Could you please tell me if there is such a standard that determines the service life of the cable for cleaning the sewer? After how many months can it be written off? Thank you in advance.

    Good day, Elena! As far as I know, there is no such standard - with proper handling, the cable is quite durable.

    To increase the service life, after using the cable it is necessary to perform a number of procedures:

    - clear of sewage;
    - rinse with warm water, you can add detergent;
    - wipe dry, allow to dry;
    - grease with machine oil;
    - put in a dry box.

    You can write off the cable with the act, which will indicate the reasons for rejection. This can be mechanical wear, corrosion, external or internal damage. The form of the debit certificate should be in the accounting department. The act must state a malfunction and impossibility of further operation.
