Hello! Please tell me, what will be the loss in the volume of passing water, if you insert into the water supply system (asbestos pipe 100) with a saddle (clamp), with a half-inch exit, and then pass an inch polypropylene pipe to the water meter (meter)?

The counter will be three quarters. A half-inch pipe will go into the house. Or is it better to use all the elements for half an inch and try to look for a saddle per inch (there is a problem with this)? Thanks in advance.

You expressed the right idea in the last sentence - to take all the elements half an inch. It is more practical and reliable. Take a saddle 1/2 inch too, why be smart with these adapters? As for the losses in the volume of passing water, I can’t tell you for sure, since there is no data on the water supply system itself, into which you will crash. But I do not think that they will be critical. Even if this is so, then you can always put a hydraulic accumulator, which will solve this problem.
