How to make a solar-powered swimming device?

Hello, there are a few questions. I want to use solar energy in the summer on a river boat. You write here on the site that when a solar cell is heated, its performance decreases.

Then the question is - will productivity increase if you periodically wash off / the battery with water overboard?

And one more thing - a flexible solar battery is mounted in a curved position and, accordingly, some elements will receive more solar energy, and some less. Will this design fail?

Thank.

Good afternoon. I do not advise washing solar panels with seawater during swimming, since, firstly, the operating instructions for solar panels definitely indicate the need to wash them, while standing on the earth's surface, and not in a swimming vehicle. Secondly, you can not wash the batteries in any weather, but only in the morning or in the evening, and on a cloudy day, and the batteries should be turned off, since during operation they will partially evaporate the moisture that gets on them and stains will appear on them, which will reduce efficiency.

In order to get more energy from batteries mounted obliquely and periodically falling into the shade, thin-film amorphous solar panels with a shade-resistant coating should be used. And so that the energy supply is not interrupted, it is best to use those thin-film amorphous batteries in which the solar cells are divided into separate circuits and do not cause the entire system to turn off when it enters the shade.

Nevertheless, the best option for fixing solar panels to a boat is to install them horizontally, as in the photo.
