Hello! Colleagues, there is a simple scheme for supplying water to a tank. The source (capture) is 500 meters in a straight line, climb 50 meters.

The source is a constant flow of water of 50 liters per minute, in the dry season. A source of electricity (220.360 volts) is located next to the tank. Interested in which pump can be used here, the required diameter of the plastic pipe, and what should be the cross-section of the electric wire? I will be very grateful for your help!

First of all, you need a fire pump for pumping water, because the distance is 500 m and the elevation is 50 meters. The pump here is simply impractical to set up with such incoming relief data.

Now I’ll explain why: here only to fill the pipeline you need a large amount of water (with a pipe of 32 mm and with a margin we’ll take 600 m of pipe, so it’s obviously impossible to lay a flat section of 500 m), that is, about 0.6 cubic meters of water will only need to fill the pipeline. As for the cable, I can say that it is better to take with a margin of 4 squares and not worry.

But the question is: who will protect all this good? 🙂
