Hello, I need your help. I contacted you earlier and your advice really helped.

Now the situation is this - we have a dead end system, we connected to it a surface water supply system - pipe 110, plastic, 3 km long. An insert of the 40th pipe was made to it, a branch of 4.5 km. In the pumping room there are Villo 3.2 square pumps, but there is no water going to the 4.5 km branch. We still have fire pumps speroni 5.5 square meters. We connected a fire pump - pumps work 3.2 square meters and 5.5 square meters, the pressure improved only in the 110th pipe, but in the 40th they did not achieve the desired result. Now we want to transfer the insert of the 40th pipe to the pumping room and power the third pump of 7.5 square meters.

The question is - will three pumps of different capacities work? We also have automation, and the fire pump only works in manual mode. We made jumpers between launchers - two launchers, a plumbing and a fireman, turned on ... but the launcher on the fireman is constantly on. Then we fed the wires from the pump to the pump (the machine costs 63 A). Tell me how to be?

Hello. This is not a simple situation, it would be possible to figure out its solution faster if at least we drew a rough outline of the water supply system and connected pumps by hand. Let's sort it out in order.

As I understand it, there are no pressure problems in the 3 km section of the 110th pipe, right? In this case, it turns out that you do not have enough pump power for the 4.5 km section to insert the 40th pipe. It is possible that you made a mistake in the calculations, for example, elevations, which already requires more power to pump water to the end point.

Regarding pumps of different capacities, with the right connection they will be able to work simultaneously.

On the issue of the starters burning, here you need to hire an experienced electrician who will connect everything correctly, since the equipment is powerful and requires special attention. Unfortunately, I can’t suggest anything here without knowing and not seeing the entire connection diagram.
