Good afternoon. I drilled a well 90 meters. Casing 32 meters, second pipe all 90 meters. All pipes are metal. A water mirror is 12 meters from the ground. The pump is submerged 35 meters from the mirror.

The water is apparently clean, but after an hour it rusts. But it’s worth pumping for about three hours, it can stand clean for a week. We drained more than 70 tons of water, but the situation has not changed. Tell me what is the reason? Thank.

    The cause of the precipitate is the high content of ferrous iron in the source. Oxidized by oxygen from the air, it precipitates.

    Why is everything good after upgrading? It is possible that when the pump is turned on, a turbulence is created that raises a certain amount of sediment. The reason may be a rupture of the casing, and leakage of the upper end in the annulus, but the probability of this is small.

    After pumping, the problem disappears, which leads to several obvious conclusions:

    1. Verkhovodka hit due to a defect or rupture in the casing;
    2. A source with a high iron content, when injecting the sediment rises with the water from the well.

    In the first case, it is quite difficult to solve the problem. The second case is not problematic, it is solved by the banal installation of a treatment plant. And I advise you to take water for chemical analysis, if you didn’t do it yet. In this case, you can accurately find out the source of the problem. High water can make the water unsuitable for drinking.
