Hello! Is it possible to connect a corner to a gas pipe with a tap (to provide more space for flexible bellows and to increase the bending radius).

In this case, the dielectric is screwed in - after the tap or after the corner? Do you have such corners available and what are their sizes?

I have the distance from the gas submarine pipe with a tap to the wall along which it is laid 3 cm and I need a corner of this size to freely screw it in. Thank!

Sincerely, Dmitri.

Hello Dmitry! In accordance with normative document SP 42-103-2003 "Design and construction of gas pipelines from polyethylene pipes", and specifically paragraph 5.4 "... rotations of the linear part of the gas pipeline in the horizontal and vertical plane are carried out by polyethylene bends or by elastic bending with a radius of at least 25 outer diameters pipes. "

I recommend that you use not a corner, but replace the entire problematic section of the pipe with a flexible hose. We do not sell equipment and tools. You can buy a flexible polyethylene hose at a hardware store or Gorgaz company store in your locality. I recommend that you do not save and purchase a hose of Russian or Belarusian production, but not Chinese.
