Good afternoon! We want to organize a chemical-analytical laboratory on the second floor of a two-story building.

Is it possible to remove the pipe by forced exhaust system through the wall of the building? At what distance from the wall should it protrude and is it necessary to bring the pipe over the roof (higher part of the building)?

If you want to deploy a chemical analysis laboratory in a building on the second floor, then you must have a separate ventilation system, which is not connected in any way with other neighboring rooms. All this is done in accordance with GOSTs, including the exhaust system. There should be a filtration system, the pipe is discharged to the building. I also want to note that in your case the presence of stationary fume hoods is also relevant.
