Hello. Tell me, please, how to properly remove a cooker hood (duct diameter 150 mm) through a wall to a street in a private house?

The diameter of the air duct in the wall causes doubts (the hood is hung on the same wall, the wall thickness is 65 cm), the height from the exhaust outlet to the turn 90 degrees into the wall, and the location of the non-return valve is closer to the street or closer to the kitchen. Is it possible to make a visor over the exit from the wall on the street (such as ready-made plastic wall exits with an ERA valve)? Thank you for participating!

A duct diameter of 150 mm will be more than enough. The wall thickness is 65 cm, this is 650 mm, which means that it is quite capable of withstanding the weight of the hood and not even one. If in doubt, make an outlet, and then mount the hood. At the expense of the check valve, place it in close proximity to the outer wall. If the location of the entire system allows, then you can safely use wall valves.
