Good afternoon. For three years we have been connected to gas. When the boiler was installed, my husband was not at home when starting it, and I did not notice that the pressure on the sensor jumps - the arrow twitches each time the boiler is turned on. Add water to the system and all.

We were told that this is not right, we need to rinse WITH. Washed twice under pressure. The pressure drop did not stop. If the boiler is off, then the pressure may drop to zero. When hot water is turned on, the arrow twitches.

They put an expansion tank with a membrane - the situation does not change. Sometimes the boiler gives an error that there is not enough water in the pump, we pump it. But where does the water go if it doesn’t leak anywhere? All checked - no leaks. We don’t know what to do with this pressure ...

Hello Svetlana. Let's try to understand this difficult situation. The reasons for the pressure drop in the CO of a gas boiler can be various, I will start with the simplest ones:

    1. Trite, but it may be that the coolant discharge valve is simply not tightly closed. If this is fixed, then the problem will be solved.

    2. Leak in the CO system. You need to carefully check all connections. Also carefully inspect the heat exchanger in the boiler, it may contain microcracks that cause this problem.

    3. The cause of a constant pressure drop in CO can be air traffic jams.

    4. If none of the items helped in solving the problem, then it is necessary to check the automation of the gas boiler. It is possible that there is a manufacturing defect.

In the latter case, you will have to call a qualified specialist for diagnostic and repair work.
